Description
Note: this a previously published hike which was cancelled. The Sixteen Mile Creek is rich in history and was once the home to a number of mills in the early years of settlement in this area. We will learn some of this as we hike up and down this beautiful valley. New meeting point. Meet in the parking lot on the southeast corner of River Glen and Neyagawa Blvd., next to the baseball playing fields at 9;45 am. for a 10:00 am. start. Bring a snack, water, sunscreen and icers. You may want to bring poles as we will be going up and down some long hills. Optional refreshment stop afterwards. I will send out an email the day before the hike with any last minute changes and my cell phone number in the event that you need to cancel the night before or the morning of. Just text me.
