Description

Walk off Sunday's dinner with an exploration of the Toronto Islands while enjoying the fall colours. We'll hike from the Wards Island dock to Hanlan's Point with side trips to Algonquin Island, Snake Island, Centre Island, and depending on the weather conditions Hanlan's Point beach. With the crowds gone Centerville makes a lovely lunch stop. Arrive at the ferry docks by 9:15 to take the 9:30 ferry to Ward's Island. We will take the 2:30 pm ferry from the Hanlan's Point Dock back to the city. Dress appropiate to the weather and bring lunch, snacks, and water. Dropout by hiking back to Ward's Island or to the Centre Island Ferry dock.
