Description
This hike is a continuation of the Lions Head series. We will complete three hikes over the weekend, ending at the cairn in Tobermory. Due to trail closures we will not hike the section between Crane Lake Road and Half Way Dump. As a substitute we will hike through side trails of the Bruce Peninsula National Park.
The meeting point on Saturday will be the Cairn in Tobermory marking the northern terminus of the Bruce Trail. We will then drive to the parking area at Halfway Dump Road. From here we will take two vehicles to the Bruce Peninsula National Park to start the hike.
Parking fees will apply. More information to be provided closer to the date.
Trail conditions are rocky which will make progress slow at times.
For those coming long distance, local accommodation should be available in Tobermory.
More information about the hike will be posted closer to the date.
