Description

We are excited to offer another Nature Journalling hike before the cold weather sets in.  And we are fortunate to have talented artist and art educator Annette ten Cate join us again to contribute her knowledge to the group.  This session we will look at adding Values (ie lights and darks) to our drawings  as well as using text as part of the process.

You do not have to have attended the first session to come on this hike.  You do not need to be an experienced artist.

This experience is intended for those who wish to increase their observational skills and appreciation of nature, as well as creating a visual record of what they see.

Bring a light folding chair, several pencils and a hard cover sketchbook or sheets of paper clipped to a hard board.  Coloured pencils, watercolour paints, and fine tip black markers may be useful.  But a pencil is all you really need.
