Description
We will hike the main trail to the Ron Savage Side Trail, loop around on it to return to the main trail, and then the Frank Holley Side Trail. This is one of my favourite hikes. We hike on top of the escarpment until we reach the Ron Savage Side Trail. We then descend to the floor of the Glen, passing sinkholes and lake where waterfowl gather, if they haven’t yet fled south. The area is rocky underfoot with many crevices. We will hike through some of the large ones. Hiking boots with good support are recommended. The hike will take approximately 2 1/2 hours.
