Description
Hike leader is Alan McPherson. From parking area we will take Black Ash Creek Side Trail to join the main trail and head west to 2nd Line and use the John Haigh Side Trail 2.6 km to join with main trail again. We head east (passing the highest point on the Bruce Trail) then north along the Osler Bluffs where there are several lookouts. We take the Petun Side Trail roughly 1.1 km before turning around and returning to main trail to head west back to parking area.
Please arrive 10 minutes early for introductions so we can start at 9:00 am sharp. There are hilly sections which can be slick when wet. Most of our walk will be in the shade of the forest, but there are some open sections. Bring water and snacks as we will take regular breaks to enjoy views or other sights. Sunscreen and bug protection are always recommended. Pack extra water if it is a hot day.
