Description
Celebrate the end of winter and the beginning of spring with an amble along the Bruce Trail and a visit to see local artists at work! This hike is part of the Bruce Trail Conservancy’s “Passport to Nature” initiative.
First, we’ll do a leisurely out-and-back amble along the Bruce Trail’s Credit Valley Footpath Side Trail, hiking about 5 km in total. After returning to our cars, those who would like to join me in extending their day of fun will walk to nearby Williams Mill Creative Arts Studios (https://williamsmill.com/) and Glen Williams Glass (https://www.glenwilliamsglass.com/) to peruse the art created by local artists. Afterwards, whoever would like to join me for lunch at the Copper Kettle Pub (https://www.copperkettle.ca/) is more than welcome to do so.
You should bring enough water and food for a 2-hour hike, comfortable hiking shoes, appropriate clothing for the weather, and cash/debit/credit if you intend to join us for shopping and lunch in Glen Williams.
