Description
Explore a brisk blast around Kemble Mountain before winter. Show up ready for a good workout no matter the weather and trail conditions. The hike includes climbing and descending the escarpment twice. Bring lunch/snacks for two food stops along the way. Starting from Don Richards Side Trail we follow the main trail northbound and counterclockwise around Kemble Mountain to km 150.1 before returning on Coles Side Trail and the Mystery Cabin Side Trail. There are a couple of short sections of road walking but most of this hike is forested and in places offers spectacular views of Colpoy's Bay and the beautiful landscapes of northern Georgian Bluffs from atop the tallest mountain "anywheres hereabouts"!
