Description
From Parking Lot at Hiram Street, we will walk to Rainbow Bridge and cross over to US side, valid Canadian Passport required, also required Loonie (one dollar coin) as crossing fee to get through the barrier. On US side our passport will be checked and usual border clearance required.
We will walk around the Goat Island, connected 3-sister island, viewing deck, trail next to the deck and return to Canada side using same walking bridge and clear through Canada border checks. All the hike is close to the river, refreshing sounds and sights.
There will be a snack break at 3-sister island and a visit to Ice-cream parlour to cool down the summer heat.
Bring your preferred hydration drink, snack; wear hiking shoes and comfortable outfit, take an extra layer along as the temperature usually drops near the river.
Make sure, phone is on Airplane mode before border crossing to US to prevent roaming charges.
