Description
Crawford Lake is a beautiful Meromictic lake of scientific interest. It has a beautiful, newly constructed boardwalk which goes around the lake. (Hopefully it will be open for us. ) The main trail goes along the escarpment edge, with hills and some rocky areas. We will have the option of hiking this. Otherwise the trails are flat and easy. There is an option to visit the reconstructed indigenous village after the hike. Meet in the lower parking lot at 9:45 for a 10:00 am. start. Bring water, a snack and poles if using. A reservation with Halton parks is necessary to park here, best made ahead of time. I will send a message out the night before with my contact information should you need to cancel the night before or in the morning.
