Description
Getting in the mood for Thanksgiving? Enjoy the fall colours, in a moderately-paced hike from Scotsdale Farm to Silver Creek Conservation Area, and back. We will leave time for taking photos and enjoying the views! The hike takes us through the beautiful properties of the Scotsdale estate, and into the Silver Creek park and watershed. There are some hills to climb, valleys to descend into and rocky footing underneath in some spots. Bring your poles (recommended), snacks/lunch, water. Dress appropriate for the weather. This is a loop hike, with lots of variety in history, terrain and viewing areas. There are no washrooms on site - we will stop for bio-breaks.
We will meet at the main parking lot in front of the farmhouse.
