Celebrate Bruce Trail Day with us!
Join us and Bruce Trail Conservancy Staff Ecologist Brian Popelier for a guided hike exploring the incredible flora and fauna of the fall season. We'll follow the Bruce Trail's main trail along the Niagara Escarpment, taking in spectacular views over Barrow Bay before returning to the parking lot via the John Appleton Side Trail. Along the way, we'll enjoy a relaxed "stop, look, and listen" pace, pausing frequently to observe wildflowers, fungi, birds, and other wildlife we encounter while learning about the unique ecology of the area.
This hike is part of Bruce Trail Day, which celebrates togetherness on the Trail and all the ways the Bruce Trail brings us together with one another and our beautiful surroundings! Join us for family friendly activities and light refreshments at the Ferndale Visitor’s Center after your hike.
