Description

Since 1995, the government in has Canada officially recognized February as Black History Month; a time when Canadians are invited to reflect, educate and engage in the ongoing fight against anti-Black racism and discrimination. You will find out about some of those who fought enslavement, and how they were pivotal in shaping our society to be as diverse as it is today. Complete 3 of 4 hikes for the Black History badge.

*We will be stopping several times. Dress for the weather. Hiking poles and icers are recommended. Expect hike to take 1.5-2 hours.
