    Pace: Leisurely

    Distance: 12 km

    Description

Join me for an easy going ramble from the front gates of Glendon College to Taylor Creek Park at Victoria Park Avenue. We will take in the Glendon Forest, Sunnybrook Park, E.T. Seton Park and Taylor Creek Trail. We will stick to the less well trodden paths close to the Don West Creek, avoiding the heavily trafficked paved route. It is better shaded and fewer cyclists.

Registration for this event opens on July 17th.

An early departure to avoid the worst heat of the day and you’ll have the afternoon and evening free.

As a bonus, if some want to continue we can do an additional 2.5 km along Taylor Creek east of Victoria Park, ending at Warden Subway Station. You can decide when we reach the subway at Victoria Park.

    Route: https://onthegomap.com/s/blsgct6e

Washrooms: A surprising number of washrooms are open along this route between Sunnybrook and Dawes Road just a little east of Victoria Park.

What to bring: At least 2 litres of water, snacks and sun protection. Mosquitoes were active in the area last time I went through and we do pass some marshy areas.
