    Description

    Meet at Calcium Pitts on Twiss Rd (north of Derry Rd) and hike main trail through Crawford Forestry Tract to Crawford Lake CA. Main trail to 113.1 and back taking Leech Porter and Crawford Lake side trails back to parking. Bring water, snack, lunch, sunscreen, bug spray. No dogs.     Location (Google Maps): City View Park, Burlington. North car park (one closest to Hwy 5). Directions: from the south, go north on Kerns Road; turn right into north car park just before you reach Hwy 5. From all other directions turn south off Hwy 5 onto Kerns Road and take first left.

    Description

    Park on Filman Road, (exit 403 at Rousseaux Rd) and first right onto Filman Road. Park at end of road. Hike Main Trail to Dundurn Steps and return by Robert MacLaren Side Trail and Iroquoia Heights Side Trail back to cars.

    Bring hiking boots, hat, water, snack/lunch, sun block, bug spray.  No dogs. Coffee/pub stop afterwards for those interested.

    Description

    Tobermory Weekend Sept. 27-29. Two nights. We arrive in Tobermory Friday 27 Sept. in time for dinner at 7:00pm. If you arrive earlier you will have time to visit the Parks Canada Visitor Centre. We will visit Flower Pot Island one day, cost $55.00 for Parks pass and ferry. Our slow paced walks give us time to explore the Island. Other walks will take us to the Grotto and Singing Sands. This weekend is restricted to those joining us at the Princess 877-901-8282 contact for prices and a reservation.

    Looking for a distance and strength challenge? Earn a Steeltown Stomp badge! Climb more than 2,000 steps along the Hamilton Escarpment (six sets of stairs) and hike upwards of 20 km. Strong fitness levels are required.
