Description

From Bruce Trail Main Trail, take N Pearson Side Trail back to Main Trail, King Side Trail, along escarpment to Kerncliff Park, Ian Pearson Side Trail and back along Main Bruce to Grindstone Creek Side Trail and to the parking lot. No dogs.¬† Bring hat, water, lunch/snack, bug spray… Pub/refreshment stop afterwards.(Loops and Lattes Halton Hike 36).

Description

Join us for a loop walk on the escarpment trails of Waterdown. We’ll meet curbside on Flanders Dr. at the corner of Mountain Brow Rd. in Waterdown. You can reach Mountain Brow Rd. by driving north on Waterdown from Burlington or south on Mill St. from downtown Waterdown. Wear boots and bring water. An optional pub stop will follow.

Description

We will walk east along the beach trail, through Skyway Park and Confederation Beach Park, returning to Barangas for lunch.

Directions: Niagara-bound QEW exit at Woodward. Turn right onto Woodward, right onto Beach Blvd and right onto Van Wagners Beach Road. Alternative routes from Burlington are Eastport Drive or Beach Blvd.

Description

Climb the steps and walk the streets and trails of West Hamilton. We will hike sections of the Bruce Trail as well as the trails of Iroquoia Heights. There will be weekly walks all summer. Now we are all getting older we are not hiking as fast as we used to. Hike is cancelled if there is heavy rain.

Burlington Waterfront Evening Hike

Location: Meet in the Lakeshore Road parking lot just east of the Waterfront Centre and restaurant

Pace: Brisk – 4 to 5 km/hr
Terrain: Easy – Mostly flat and usually good footing

Description

This will be a brisk walk along Lake Ontario, to the canal and back. Hike will be cancelled in poor weather.
