    Please join ua for a pleasant walk through Cedarvale Ravine/Park and then connect to the Beltline Trail. A lovely off-road walk in the central part of the city. Walk will end at Yonge and St. Clair.

    Directions: From Flesherton, take County Rd. 4 northeast 3.6 km. Turn left (north) on County Rd. 13 and go 12.2 km. Turn right (east) on Side Rd. 7B, which is signposted to Duncan, for 3.1 km. Turn left on Side Road 10D for 4.5 km (including a sharp bend to right) to the hamlet of Duncan. Continue ahead on 9th Sideroad. Parking spot is about 500 metres on the right.

    Description

    We will hike a loop made by the Chuck Grant Side Trail and the main Bruce Trail, in the Duncan Crevice Caves Provincial Nature Reserve and Kolapore Uplands. The scramble through the middle of Metcalfe Rock is fun, but optional. Bring lunch.
    No dropout. No dogs please.

    Description

    This slow Forest Bathing walk in nature will offer you an explanation of the benefits of walking in nature and connecting with the forest, 5 different “invitations” (Forest bathing experiences), and quiet contemplative times interspersed with brief discussion opportunities.  Maximum 8 people.  You will be contacted in case of a necessary change in time or location.  This is NOT a hike, but a guided meditative walk over 1 to 2 KM and taking 1 1/2 hours.

    Hike the entire Niagara Section over 10 weeks.  Due to Covid19, we will be completing this as a series of in and out hikes.  This series will start in Grimsby and end in Queenston (83km).  Upon successfully completing the entire Niagara section you can purchase a Niagara e2e badge.

    Meet at Rockway Community Centre, 2021 Pelham Rd, St Catharines.  Hike to Sixth Ave, Balls Falls and back along the road.

    We’ll hike south on Etobicoke Creek to Marie Curtis Park and west on the Mississauga Waterfront Trail to Port Credit passing through scenic parks, the beautiful Adamson Estate and quiet streets. Return to Toronto by GO Train or MiWay Transit. Part 1 of 2 part series exploring Mississauga’s Waterfront Trail. Part 2 will be scheduled in October. The group will be divided into 2 smaller groups maximum 15 each. Physical Distancing and mandatory preregistration will be enforced.
