Gentle Hike - Crawford Lake

This area is always worth a visit. We will visit the Meromictic Lake, walk the boardwalk and then head out to meet up with main Bruce Trail and then circle the southern edge of the property and visit the lookout before heading back to the centre with an option to take a look at the Indian Village. Bring water, a snack, sunscreen and insect repellent. Meet in the lower parking lot of the Conservation Area, located on the east side of Guelph Line north of Derry Rd. Hike at Rush Cove on the Bruce Peninsula

Distance: 10.7 kmWe will carpool to Tim’s in Wiarton in the Peninsula section,
then arrange a shuttle, leaving a car at km 61.0 before proceeding to the start of the hike at Jackson Cove Rd km 51.0. From
here we will hike north on the main trail with great lookouts
over Georgian Bay and through Alvar areas, before we take the
ladder down to the shoreline of Rush Cove and return to the
starting point via the Pease Side Trail and the Jackson Cove Side
Trail. A shorter hike can be arranged, depending on the availability of cars. This would also start at km 51.0, include Rush Cove
and end at the parking lot at km 61.0. Bring water, lunch and
