    Niagara Gorge Hike, USA - International Trails Day

    Terrain: Moderate – Some hills and/or some poor footing
    Distance: 12 km

    Description

    Meet at the cairn in Queenston at 7:45am. Carpool to Artpark State Park in Lewiston, NY. Bring water, lunch & valid ID (current passport or upgraded DL) to enter the US.
    Hike will be led by a state park naturalist and will include historical information. Badges available. Health insurance is the responsibility of the participant.

    We will shuttle to km 54, roadside parking at the west end of North St., west of County Rd 13, at the north end of Eugenia.  Bring lunch, snacks and sufficient water.  Participants must register with leader.

    Location (Google Maps): Map 28 Meet at 8:00 a.m. km 114.3, off road at Blantyre, on the east side of Grey Road 12, just south of the trail crossing. Do not park on the shoulder and do not block farmers’ access to field. You may park in the grassy ditch on the east side of the road.

    Happy Wanderers - Glover Mountain to Wentworth Steps (C) - Iroquoia End to End in 11 step

    Description

    Iroquoia End-to-End in 11 parts will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays over the summer and fall. Hikes are not in sequence.
    For this section, we will meet at Glover Mountain ST (21.8 KM in Bruce TrailReference Guide) then shuttle to Wentworth steps 33.4. We will walk “down” the steps and return to our cars stopping for lunch at Felkers Falls along the way. Please pre-register with me to receive news of any changes to our plans.
