    Description

Due to storm warnings of severe winter weather conditions for Dec 1st, we changed the date of this special event to Saturday Dec 14th.  Dundas Archives and Museum was wonderful in allowing us to change the date.
Join author & engaging speaker Andrew Camani as he shares his journey of discovery along the Bruce Trail.  He’ll intertwine these with his experiences getting the book started and gathering other peoples tales of their hiking trips.  As Andy says, “100 Hikers, 100 Hikes” is not really his book but belongs to everyone who contributed their most memorable moments hiking whether it was on the Bruce or across the ocean.   Hikers voices are now preserved forever as the book is in the National Archives..   Many of you who’ve hiked the Bruce Trail will recognize landmarks that Andy passed then researched.  He’s looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones who would like to discover the Bruce Trail themselves.
Books will be available for sale for $25, $10 of which goes to The Bruce Trail Conservancy. Light refreshments.  Door prizes include some of our buffs and journals to get you started on your hiking stories. This event is free to all but donations for the Bruce Trail are appreciated. Memberships available to purchase just in time for you to give to your favourite hiking friends for Christmas! AND they are 100% tax deductible!
