Welsh Tract Loop hike exploring Secret Pond, nice intimate trail that’s concealed through thick forest and has wonderful views.  Muddy sections, so bring waterproof boots. Small parking area at entrance.

We will car pool to roadside parking where Glen Cross Side Trail meets 3rd Line EHS and hike a loop composed of the Glen Cross and Isabel East Side Trails and the Main Trail.

Sawmill Valley-Credit River

Location (Google Maps): Erindale Park, Dundas St. — From QEW take Erin Mills Parkway north to Dundas St. Turn right and after about one km (just after passing lights at Mississauga Rd) turn left into Erindale Park. From Hwy 401 or 403 come south on Erin Mills Pkwy to Dundas and turn left. Note: The exit from 401 is called “Mississauga Rd”. Two km south of 401 keep right on “Erin Mills Pkwy”.

WINTER FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS HIKE

Location (Google Maps): Meet at Dufferin Island parking lot, Niagara Parkway, south of the Falls. Park in angled parking spots at the base of Burning Spring Hill. WFOL has become a tradition for many with over 3 million lights displayed along the parkway. Come and experience new and old displays that are sure to delight. Bring a flashlight or headlamp. Depending upon the weather, icers and poles may be helpful. Easy terrain, Moderate pace.
