Description
Start your week off on the right foot! Shake off the weekend, lace up your hiking boots, and join us Monday mornings for a rejuvenating dose of fresh air, exercise and trail time! This is a series of shorter, energetic hikes (approximately 2 - 3 hours) that are a great way to get moving, enjoy the outdoors and start your week feeling energized. We'll explore the beautiful side trails of the Sydenham section. And for those who enjoy a little extra motivation, our hikes can also help you earn the Exploring Sydenham badge.
This week's hike includes the Woodford Escarpment Loop & the Crevice Spring Loop. Come and discover where moonshine was reportedly stashed in the prohibition days, a mysterious person disappeared; the body never to be found, the ruins of an old Quaker church built in 1860, and slither through a few crevices!
