Description

We will follow the Main Trail out of Wiarton, beside the airport, along the road, and on the rocky trail in the Bruce's Caves Conservation Area to Bruce’s Caves, and back.

We will have time to explore and lunch at Bruce's Caves, including the very rocky Colpoy’s Cavern Side Trail.

Our pace will be Brisk through the open areas but Leisurely through the rocky sections.

Please bring enough water (about 2 litres) and food to maintain your energy for a 5-hour hike.

Comfortable hiking shoes or boots are a must. A rain shell is recommended in case of a wet weather forecast, along with a hat, sunscreen, and bug repellent for sunny weather or buggy trail conditions.
