Description
This weeknight Rainbow Hike is for all LGBTQ2SIA+ peeps and allies. Suited for all hiking levels.
If you're looking to do one of the longer weekend Rainbow Hikes, this one is a good primer. To battle any summer heat, we'll maximize the footpaths by the water.
Accessible by public transit or car.
Let's rendezvous in front of West Harbour GO Station, McNab / James Street, in time for a 6:30 pm start. We'll hike 10 to 12 km starting with a circular tour of Bay Front Park and then along the Waterfront Trail.
Since everyone loves a stair workout, we'll aim to tackle one set at least.
Everyone gets a complimentary Bruce Trail Rainbow Badge or sticker.
Bring at least 1 litre of water, energizing snacks/lunch, sunscreen and it's a good idea to pack insect repellent. (I'll bring extra so don't worry if you don't already have.) Sturdy shoes are recommended. We'll be mostly on paved paths.
