Description
This hike will give you the chance to slow your pace and enjoy your surroundings as we hike along the Vanderleck Side Trail. We invite you to bring along your observation skills and your curiosity as we will pause frequently to identify spring wildflowers, and to learn their role in the ecosystem. This hike is presented by the TBTC Biodiversity Team.
Note: We may use field guides and the INaturalist app to assist in identification. Bring along a field guide if you have one, lunch and water. Binoculars are always a good idea, even on wildflower walks! There may be Black Flies or Mosquitos, so bring bug repellent.
The length of the hike may vary depending on the abundance and location of the flowers on the day of the hike.
