Description

Doug Doolittle, an Indigenous educator of the Mohawk nation and Bear Clan, will lead a 2-3 hour easy paced walk through the Pine River Nature Reserve. Following a smudging ceremony Doug will talk about Indigenous peoples’ sacred connection with water. Doug will walk us through the nature reserve and identify plants and their medicinal uses.  Please bring your own drinking water and if available a hand drum of any kind.  Please note that this event is an easy walk rather than a hike.  A certified hike leader will not be present.
