Description

We will explore the beautiful Splitrock Narrows Nature Reserve, and then loop into Mono Cliffs Provincial Park, using mostly side trails: Splitrock and Narrows side trails, plus Ralph Tremils, Walter Tovell, Spillway, Carriage, and Lookout side trails, plus about 2 km of main trail. Getting from Splitrock Narrows to Mono Cliffs and back requires 0.9 km of road (times 2), but at least it is pleasant country road. We will hike at a brisk pace, stopping once or twice for a snack break. Bring snacks and water.
