Description
We will do the Silent Valley and Waisburg Nature Reserves over two hikes. The order of the hikes will depend upon the weather conditions. Both hikes include steep climbs up and down the escarpment. One hike includes the Avalanche Side Trail, a beautiful but challenging climb uphill among and around large boulders. Hiking poles are highly recommended. Icers may be necessary if there has been any snow or ice.
