Description
If you have hiked this trail before you know how beautiful it is. If you haven't you are in for a treat. Trail follows the West Duffins Creek, on the Caruthers Creek and Duffins Creek Watershed. One of the most widely studioed watershed in Ontario, if not in Canada. It is a riparian habitat and harbours many wildlife, plant and fish species, A very popular area among the anglers during the fishing season. It is a challenging trail so we will slow the pace and take our time on the hills, and stairs.
We will start from the Concession 3 parking lot, have two dropouts, one at Foreststream, the other at Whitevale. We will end the hike in Green River on HW 7.
You will need 2 litres of water, snacks, lunch, sun screen, and insect repellant. Hikers are encouraged to bring their own first aid kit. Lunch will be on the trail

We will stop for refreshments in Pickering before heading home.
If you have a time sensitive function to attend please note that We can not give you a firm Return time to York York Mill. However We hope to be back by 4:30 pm.
