Description

Join us for the kick-off hike of our Beaver Valley End-to-End series. The Beaver Valley section is known for its many hills, but all experienced, fit hikers are welcome to join us, including those who are not working towards an E2E badge. Our first hike will take us from the boundary with the Blue Mountains section at km 0.0, through the luscious Len Gertler Memorial Loree Forest and along the Escarpment edge, finishing at km 10.6 (Bruce Trail Reference Guide Edition 31, Map #24). We should catch some magnificent views of Georgian Bay.

The total hike distance is approximately 10.6 km. There will be a dropout point at approximately 8.3 km. Time permitting, we will have a refreshment stop in Primrose.

Hiking boots and poles are recommended.
