Description
Welcome to the Saturday Seekers, as we're calling this series of hikes, since the goal is to earn the BV Green Apple End to End badge! All hikes in this series will include a car shuttle, masks must be worn in cars, and please be prepared to take a turn as a shuttle driver. Trails may be wet at this time of year so it's a good idea to have gaiters handy. Experience with hiking about 20 km in a day at a medium pace is essential. There will be a short snack break in the morning and afternoon, as well as a longer lunch break. Ensure that you have sufficient water. Please read the hiking guidelines below.
Today's hike takes us down and into Kimberley village, then up to Old Baldy, as we make our way along the east side of the escarpment to beautiful Eugenia Falls and includes about 3.5 km of road walking.
