Description

Rattlesnake Point is a very popular destination for both hikers and rock climbers. The soaring cliffs give wonderful views over the Nassagaweya Canyon towards Crawford Lake Conservation Area. We may see some Turkey Vultures if they haven't already left but, sadly, no rattlesnakes. Come join this exploratory hike of the area. Bring water and a snack. Rattlesnake Point is on the west side of Appleby Line, north of Derry Rd., right at the top of the windy road. Map 11. Parking fee in effect or a Conservation Area pass.
