Description

Join the Niagara Bruce Trail Club, Bridges Niagara Immigrant and Refugee Services and PFLAG Niagara for a Rainbow-Welcome Hike as part of Bruce Trail Day, starting on the campus of Brock University.

What is a Rainbow-Welcome Hike?

Rainbow-Welcome hikes aim to bring 2S-LGBTQIA+ newcomers together with other newcomers and community members, friends and allies to enjoy nature and connect to the land and enjoy nature in all seasons.

It is an intentionally affirming space for people of diverse backgrounds and identities with a focus on 2S-LGBTQIA+ inclusion. Everyone is welcome.

Hike description:

Explore the trails around Brock University. Expect some ups and downs and moving at a moderate pace. Stay afterwards to celebrate Bruce Trail Day with the NBTC.

Note: If you don't have transportation to get to Brock, there may be space on a charter bus coming from Bridges Niagara Immigrant and Refugee Services. Please message us for info.
