Description

Beginning from the Speyside South Side Trail, our route will take us through eight properties that are owned by the Bruce Trail Conservancy and looked after by our Toronto Club. We will end at the Maple Ridge property on Fifth Line north of Limehouse. Along our way we will hear about the measures the Conservancy undertakes to preserve and care for the ecosystems along the Niagara Escarpment. We will learn more about how our local Toronto Club volunteer land stewards and members of the Biodiversity Team work alongside BTC staff ecologists to protect lands along the Bruce Trail from destructive human impact and to restore native habitats.
