Description
Hike leader is Alan McPherson. Hike starts at the parking lot and we cross the road to to do a small loop using the Rockhill Park Side Trail. We return to the parking lot and follow the main trail east through meadows and then forest. Stay on the main trail for several km until reaching the Oliver Creek Side Trail which will loop us back to the main trail and then return to the parking area.
Please arrive 10 minutes early for introductions so we can start at 9:00 am sharp. There are hilly sections which can be slick when wet. Most of our walk will be in the shade of the forest, but there are some open sections. Bring water and snacks as we will take regular breaks to enjoy views or other sights. Sunscreen and bug protection are always recommended. Bring extra water if it is a hot day.
