Description
We are going to hike a loop from Decew Ruins that will take us along Lake Moodie and over to Morningstar Mill which has now reopened. After having a look, we will retrace our steps and follow the Laura Secord down to 12 mile creek and over the Glendale Dip bridge, to go back up the other side of 12 mile creek and go around Brock University back to our vehicles at Decew.
This hike is for experienced hikers and will be done at a quick pace, there are long descents and long inclines and especially if there's been rain, poles are encouraged to negotiate muddy areas. Proper footwear is required. Water is required. Please be sure to bring enough water and snacks to be out for at least 3 hours, esp if it is hot.
