Description
Join us for a winter trek from Mono Centre to Splitrock Narrows and back on the BTC Main Trail and Side Trails. We will take in the escarpment in all its vertical glory together with McCarston's Lake and the quiet of the woods. We will deal with snow, ice and mud so please be ready for all of that. Icers essential. Please bring water, a warm drink, a snack and a lunch. Please dress in layers for winter hiking as more fully described on the BTC website and please make sure your backpack contains the items suggested there too including a first aid kit and dry socks. Please arrive at 9:15 so as to be ready to hike at 9:30 am.
