Description
We will hike a loop using the Main Trail and the Canada Goose Side Trail. We will hike through the Limehouse Conservation Area passing the remains of the restored powder magazine, a lime kiln, and an old mill. We will skirt the edge of farmland and a quarry as well as hike through hardwood forest.
Expect the trail to be wet with the melt; 1.5 km of road will give us break from the spring conditions.
Plan is for a couple of stops for hydration and clothing adjustments and a snack break.
Dress in layers, hiking boots required, poles and gaiters recommended.
