Description
Car shuttle hike with no dropouts. In compliance with provincial health regulations, car shuttle hikes are restricted to hikers who can show proof of vaccination with matching ID. Masks will be worn during the car shuttle, vehicle windows will be open a crack, and there will be a maximum of four hikers per vehicle. Please be prepared to shuttle fellow hikers.
This hike, the last of this series, will be shortened if the main trail through Kelso Conservation Area is closed. We will do some road walking, hike through Crawford Lake/Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area, and the Crawford Forestry Tract. Hiking boots or shoes are mandatory and hiking poles are strongly recommended. Please carry icers or other traction footwear in your backpack as we encounter icy conditions. Bring at least 2L of water, snacks, your lunch, and dress for the weather. Please bring a toonie to contribute to the parking fee at Hilton Falls Conservation Area.
