Description
Car shuttle with no dropouts. In compliance with provincial health regulations, car shuttle hikes are restricted to hikers who can show proof of vaccination with matching ID. Masks will be worn during the car shuttle, vehicle windows will be open a crack, and there will be a maximum of four hikers per vehicle. Please be prepared to shuttle fellow hikers.
On this hike, #5 of 6, we will go through Mount Nemo Conservation Area, walk along the road, and through forests. There will be a few steep climbs and rugged hiking today so hiking boots or shoes are mandatory and hiking poles are strongly recommended. Please carry icers or other traction footwear in your backpack as we may encounter icy conditions. Please bring at least 2L of water, snacks, your lunch, and dress for the weather. Try and wear something brightly coloured (ie. a hat) so that when we are road walking, you’ll be easily seen.
