This hike is designed to give new hikers a sense of what hiking on the Bruce Trail has to offer. We will walk into the Limehouse Conservation Area, down into the valley along the Black Creek side trail and then up the main Bruce Trail to examine the lime kiln restoration. We will then reverse back down the main trail through the interesting “Hole in the Wall” feature and back to the cars in the parking lot. Hiking boots or comfortable walking shoes suggested. Bring water and a snack. Please consider carrying these in a knapsack or fanny pack to be more comfortable. Please arrive at meeting place at least 15 minutes before hike begins.

Meet at:

Ball Park parking lot on Fifth Line south of the village of Limehouse

From Hwy 401 take Trafalgar Rd north for 10 km to 22 Sideroad just north of where Trafalgar Road merges with highway 7. Continue a short distance on and turn left (south) onto Fifth Line. Continue down Fifth line until you see a Recreational Baseball Park on your left (east side).
