Description

Our follow up hike from March  to learn about the varieties of the forest types on the Speyside Resource Management Area. The slow pace will allow us the opportunity to learn to identify trees by their bark, needles and leaves. Instead off pounding out the mileage, we will amble along guided by 3 Foresters from the University of Toronto, who are also member of the Toronto club and its Biodiversity Team. We will learn about the BTC's land stewardship and its work to protect the flora and wildlife of the Niagara Escarpment.
