Location (Google Maps): Hidden Valley Park in Aldershot. When coming along Plains Rd turn north on Howard Drive and follow the curve in the road to the parking lot beside the washrooms.
Pace: Medium - 3 to 4 km/hr
Terrain: Easy - Mostly flat and usually good footing
Distance: 8 km
Description
We will follow Grindstone Creek through the park and then onto the RBG property up and down the trails of Hendrie Valley to the toll ponds and back. Bring lots of water, snack, lunch for possible picnicking in the park afterwards, bug spray and sunscreen. Trail is often muddy. Hopefully we'll see lots of beautiful warblers passing through on their way north.
