Location (Google Maps): Meet at 9:30 at Hart House Farm, 15859 Creditview Road, Caledon. From there we will carpool to roadside parking at the dead end of Chinguacousy Road where parking is limited.

Description
On Sunday October 25, and Monday October 26, 20 to 30 volunteers will be needed each day to continue with Habitat Restoration (Buckthorn removal) at the Quarryside Nature Reserve This is a significant ongoing project that requires a large group of volunteers. The scope is to remove invasive trees and shrubs like buckthorn and Manitoba maple trees. Tools used will be chainsaws, hand saws, loppers. Trimmed branches will need to be moved off the trail as well. There will be "work" available for all skills levels. There will be a brief training on identification of the invasive species and BTC Staff will be on site to assist throughout the day.
Volunteers should wear a long sleeve shirt and pants, sturdy footwear and bring sturdy gloves if you have them as buckthorn can puncture regular garden gloves.
