Description

The Etobicoke Creek Recreational Trail is a 34.5 km multi-use trail running from the Greenbelt Trail in Caledon through Brampton, Mississauga, and Etobicoke to the Lake Ontario Waterfront at Marie Curtis Park (with some diversions through residential areas). On this hike we will start at Sandalwood Parkway where the trail runs continuously to downtown Brampton. We'll break for lunch at Gage Park and we'll pass through the old historic part of Brampton. The trail continues south from the end of Wellington Street and we'll hike another 3-4 km towards Steeles Avenue. There will be an optional refreshment stop before another short ride on the Zum Bus back to the Brampton Innovation GO Station. The trail is ablaze with colour at this time of year making it a very pleasant walk.
