Difficulty: Advanced

See the rugged beauty and fall colours of the Queen Elizabeth II Wildlands Provincial Park on our 15 km, 4km/h, challenging hike along the Ganaraska Trail, Wilderness Section from Devil's Lake to Anson Mtn - the highest point in the park, return.

A small cliff will have to be scrambled up/down, a few creeks crossed and a couple of beaver dams will have to be traversed.

Depart 8:30 am, Devil's Lake access point (44.859651, -78.815479).

Meet at:

Devil's Lake Access Point

From Toronto take 401 E to Hwy 35 N. Turn onto Deep Bay Rd (County Rd 2) from Hwy 35 once in Moore Falls. Follow Deep Bay Rd for about 6km, then turn left on to Devil's Lake Rd. Park on north side of road at trailhead.
