Description

Departing from the parking area on Dunby Rd. (at km 67.8), we walk quietly south on the Bruce Trail through a pleasant re-forested area (and memorable benches) then on to the forests of the Hockley Valley Provincial Nature Reserve. We continue south to the junction with the Isabel East Side Trail before heading back north to follow the Cam Snell Side Trail, enjoying the company of a stream. Key words for this walk -- forest, stream and some long, steepish sections. Walkers are encouraged to take the steepish sections at their own pace - some may prefer to maintain a steady pace drinking in the forest air and some may prefer to pause for breaths and absorb nature. Please bring water and a snack for on the trail. Hiking poles can be helpful. Optional local lunch gathering after the walk.
