Description
Meet-up at Lindsay Tract Parking Lot. This hiking pace will be slow but steady - keeping us warm, and also providing an opportunity to notice the forest beauty and socialize with one another. Our forest walk will take us through the beautiful Lindsay Tract—Bruce County’s largest forest. Our route will follow the Lindsay Tract Trail system. The distance of the hike will be determined by the weather conditions, snow depth and stamina of the hike participants. Duration of the hike will be about 1 - 1 1/2 hours. If icy trail conditions exist, the hike will be rescheduled and registrants notified in the morning. Hiking poles are required. Bring a light day pack to carry water and snacks. Snowshoes may be required.
No snowshoes? You can borrow a pair from your local Bruce County Library, or let us know—we may have a pair available for you.
