Description

For intermediate and advanced hikers only:

Join us on a challenging, strenuous, 12 km hike over rugged terrain as we hike the Ganaraska Trail, Montgomery Creek Loop, in Queen Elizabeth II Wildlands Provincial Park.

We will meet for our breifing at 9:15am at Lewisham Lane & Black River Rd. GPS: 44.799659, -79.150671. At 9:30am we will car shuttle 10km down a rough dirt road to the access point. Masks will be mandatory during the shuttle.

There will be a number of beaver dam, stream and creek crossings. Depending on the water levels we may get our feet wet. Hiking boots are madatory. Bug spay and bug hat/jacket are highly recommended. Hiking poles are recommended. Bring lunch, snack, water(2L minimum). No Dogs. No drop out.
