Description

Join us for an enjoyable spring hike in Uxbridge. We will explore parts of Wilder Forest, Walker Woods and Glen Major Forest in a loop, starting from Brock Road, passing Concession Road 6, heading towards the west and back. Along with the main trail we will hike through many side trails as well. Please stay on the designated trail at all times. As this trail is a multi-use trail, expect mountain biking, equestrian, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing and be prepared to share the trail with them. We will hike through multiple beautiful scenic views and lookouts when facing south. This trail includes both hilly and flat segments. Please be prepared for the weather conditions (at this time of the year expect a mix of winter and spring weather condition). Boots, icers and poles are mandatory. Don’t forget to bring at least 2 litres of water and your favorite snacks. We will have frequent 2 min stops for water and lookout photos. There will be also a 20 minutes stop for lunch. Bring your own favorite lunch and refreshments to enjoy an outdoor spring lunch. Don’t forget to bring your camera and smile while exploring the wilderness and the beauty of the Uxbridge trails. Watch for the update email on the day before the hike.
